Faraday: Therapy Notes

Faraday records a session, transcribes it and drafts a clinical note. All three happen on your device. There is no Faraday server, and there is no account.

What is collected

Nothing. Faraday has no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry and no advertising. It does not know who you are, how often you use it, or that you exist.

Where session content goes

No transcription vendor receives your session. No artificial intelligence company receives your session. Nobody receives it, which is why there is no business associate agreement for you to review.

How you can check this

Turn on Airplane Mode and use Faraday exactly as you would otherwise. Record, transcribe, write the note. Everything works, because nothing was ever going anywhere. An app that sends sessions to a server cannot do this.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Faraday uses RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and the subscription status — never a recording, a transcript, a note, or anything about your clients. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all notes removes every note from the device. Deleting the app removes everything it holds. Because there is no copy anywhere else, deleting here deletes it everywhere — there is no backup for us to purge, and no request for you to send.

Your clients

Recording a session requires your client's consent, and the rules differ by jurisdiction — in some places recording without every party's agreement is a criminal offence. Faraday includes a consent form you can hand to a client, but obtaining consent and keeping records lawfully remain your professional responsibility.

Children

Faraday is a professional documentation tool for licensed clinicians. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear here with a new date. Faraday collects nothing today, and a change to that would be announced in the app before it took effect.
