Scrubb is built to protect your privacy, not to profit from it. This policy explains what Scrubb does and does not do with your information. In short: Scrubb does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data or your files.
All metadata reading and removal happens locally on your device. Your photos, videos and PDFs are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. The app does not request network access for its cleaning features, and we have no servers that receive your files.
When you clean a file, Scrubb writes a new copy to a temporary working area on your own device. Your original is never modified. You decide where the cleaned copy goes (Photos, Files, or sharing). We retain nothing.
Subscriptions (Scrubb Pro) are processed by Apple through the App Store. To validate your subscription status, we use RevenueCat as a service provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user identifier and the transaction information Apple provides (such as product ID and purchase status). This does not include your name, email address, or any of your files. Apple's handling of payment data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Scrubb is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
